Adobe Acrobat 8

Post by ednic48 » Wed Apr 30, 2008 7:42 am

I cannot get Brainstorm to print to Acrobat. I'm using Brainstorm v 3.6 Rel 0. I thought I used to be able to print directly to Acrobat the same as most other programs. Any suggestions?

I don't know what the problem is. I just printed from BrainStorm to CutePDF which outputs an Acrobat pdf file.

Can you print from Notepad to Acrobat? If you can't, then I think the problem is in your Acrobat print engine.

I've used Acrobat 6 Professional for some time. I just upgraded to Acrobat 8 with the Creative Suite. I have designed an ad that is centered on an 8.5x11 page. The ad is quite a bit smaller than the page size with crop marks added (object > crop area > make).

When I save the file as a PDF and then open the document in Acrobat, the excess of the page and my crop marks are gone. Instead, Acrobat only shows me the area as defined by the crop marks from Illustrator. I want it to show me the whole 8.5x11 sheet. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
