Languages other than English

I would love to use BrainStorm for stuff involving other languages. Running Windows 7 with a Polish keyboard, typing most of the nine special Polish characters with accents produces the right result on the screen, but the letters revert to accentless versions as soon as you hit the ENTER key. One of the letters, z with a dot over it, won't even come up right on the screen to start with. Using the Russian or Greek keyboard, stuff comes up OK on screen, only to be replaced by a line of question marks as soon as you hit ENTER. Any ideas, anybody?

I have found an on-line text-to-html conversion utility for this. So with a simple markup language, called Textile, you can put in your Brainstormfile already a lot of formatting. Even nicer, I use it to make tables! As the normal Office macro in the Word at my office doesn’t work, I found this very useful. The utility is a service of the people of the Textile markup language.
