Dear David and Mark,

After almost ten days of collecting and organising information on one of my customers for an exhibition project, I have ended up with a virtual database on their activities. I started using Brainstorm for my own ease, just to make sense of bits and pieces flowing in with no apparent logic. I edited the texts to the size I required (aided by TextTally) keeping copies of the originals, just in case; for these, I set Namesake to Off, so that they wouldn't interfere with my main information.

When I was finished, it took me less than ten minutes to produce an acceptable Word file for my customer to review and my graphic designer to use; I've now made a copy of the model, deleted the originals and produced an HTML model to show off.

Seriously, Brainstorm turned a tedious job to something quite enjoyable.

Thanks for the kind words.

Just so people understand: namesakes can be switched on and off individually or as a collection of selected entries. They can't (yet) be switched off globally.

(A namesake is an entry which is identical to another. They share the same descendants.)
